Dangerous Goods are all substances, mixtures and objects whose natural abilities are a danger to

• the public safety

• human beings, animals and economy or

• important common property.

Especially with those substances special regulations have to be considered when being transported and/or stored.

Once a company is involved in transporting dangerous goods a risk prevention officer has to be appointed. They can be part of the company or, if that is more convenient, can be ordered from the outside. For the company itself there is no difference either way.

Since August 2011 our chemists Kerstin Hellmann and Dagmar Steiner are appointed risk prevention officers for the transportation of dangerous goods via any mode of transport for REACh ChemConsult GmbH and our clients.
